A Wine Tasting with the Kinzinger Winery

In 2013, Michael Kinzinger started the Kinzinger Winery on the Berghof in Vaihingen an der Enz. Since then, he has received many awards with his wines, such as the "Best Württemberger" for the 2018 Chardonnay Horrheim, the "Meiningers German Red Wine Award 2021" for the 2018 Klosterberg Merlot Réserve or the "Best Young Winemaker of Württemberg 2023".

"The wine lines of the winery are clearly structured and stand not only for the highest quality standards, but also for down-to-earthness and a sense of belonging to one's homeland" - Kinzinger tells us - "We pay particular attention to sustainable management in the winery and we get a large part of our energy requirements from our own photovoltaic system".

Currently, more than 35,000 vines and 15 different grape varieties are cultivated, harvested and bottled annually at the Kinzinger Winery every year.

On the evening of 20 April, Michael Kinzinger will offer a wine tasting in the tapas bar "Aguila" with the support of the Adler team. A total of six different wines will be presented:

  • Lemberger Blanc de Noirs Winzersekt Brut 2021 - made using the classic bottle fermentation method. This is a new sparkling wine that is not yet for sale.
  • 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Dry - a typical Sauvignon that goes well with Asian cuisine, fish and white meat.
  • 2021 LENI White Wine Cuvée - An expressive cuvée of Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc dry as well as a good companion for wild game and strong fish dishes.
  • 2021 ROSÉ! Dry- A cuvée of Lemberger and Merlot dry. The wine goes well with strong fish dishes and snacks.
  • 2021 PAUL Red Wine Cuvée Dry - A cuvée of Lemberger, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This wine is best served with wild game dishes, pork or lamb and pizza.
  • 2021 Merlot Klosterberg is matured for 14 months in barriques. It goes well with strong meat dishes such as beef and wild game.

The wines are served with a winegrower's plate.
