A look at our guestbook: Matze Knop

On August 6th, Matze Knop was a guest at the Adler Asperg.

The comedian from Lippstadt became famous in the late 1990s with songs like "Lach isch, oda was?" and "Supa Richie", though his most popular comical roles are his football star parodies. He has interpreted Franz Beckenbauer, Jogi Löw, Jürgen Klopp or Cristiano Ronaldo for years.

The reason for the success of his football parodies could be his experience in sport: his father was a youth coach at Borussia Lippstadt and he played as a defender himself.

Matze Knop has been on tour with his live show "MUT zur Lücke" since autumn 2021.
