A catering service for unforgettable events

A catering service for unforgettable events

Since 1956, the Adler has offered a catering service for private and business events, large as well as small celebrations. Christian Heller, the hotel director of the Adler Asperg, also takes care of the planning and management of the catering business.

"Catering is very popular with customers," says Heller.  "With this service, private customers can host a party in a family circle and companies can provide a culinary setting for their events on their own premises."
The catering service is offered in a "modular system". The customer can choose between the modules of food, drinks, staff, equipment and transport. If desired, the Adler Asperg will also look for a suitable location for the event and take care of decorations, security, first aid team, tent construction, stages and technology, as well as a suitable entertainment programme.

"A site inspection is the first step in the preparations," Mr Heller explains. "We check all the details, from the power supply to the distance between the festival hall and the Koch-Mobile. We believe that success stands or falls with preparation."

The Adler's catering service can be booked for a candlelight dinner for two, for trade fairs or corporate catering for up to 2,000 people. The gastronomic offer includes menus, finger food or a buffet for 30 people or more. The guest is king and his wishes are fulfilled.

For a company dinner at the Bebenhausen Monastery, the service staff served in monk's robes and the cooking was done in the vaulted cellar, Heller recalls. "We had extra temperature controllers and a hygrometer with us".

A very special event was the James Bond exhibition in Ludwigsburg. Martini cocktails were shaken or stirred there and champagne & foie gras terrine were served.

Since the pandemic, the Adler's catering service has been booked more often for private parties. Demand from business clients is slowly returning.

The secret of the service's success lies in the attention to detail, the high quality of the food and service, the sensitivity towards customers, the time management and the adaptability of the team. "We are not a caterer who simply delivers the food on site," explains Christian Heller, "but we cook the food fresh on site. This is how we can also always guarantee our high quality and standards."
